DISCOVER OUR ANIMAL WELFARE AND ANIMAL TREATMENT POLICY

MAÏSADOUR GROUP
As part of our Ambition 2030 corporate strategy, animal welfare and animal treatment are major commitments. For over 50 years, our teams have been working and innovating to ensure that farms are adapted to animals' needs. Our farming methods have been praised by several independent NGOs and rewarded by national and international certificates and labels.

COMMITMENTS BASED ON 3 PILLARS: PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT

PEOPLE

Women and men are an essential link in the implementation of good animal welfare practices. To train producers and employees in these practices and improve their working conditions, our Group undertakes training, consultancy and innovation initiatives.

ANIMALS

Animals must be able to feed, drink, move and express their natural behaviour in complete tranquillity. We base our approach on the OECD-FAO Guide to Responsible Farming.

This document describes the 5 “fundamental freedoms for animal welfare”, according to the main principles set out by the Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC*) and adopted by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE*).

L'environnement

Animal welfare and respect for the environment go hand in hand. Our Group ensures optimal living conditions for animals, while conserving resources and protecting biodiversity.
