THE SEED BUSINESS LINE

The Seed Business has several strategic activities: the selection and the development of new maize varieties (temperate and tropical), of sunflowers and various species (alfalfa, rapeseed, soybeans, sorghum, cover crops, forage mixtures, etc. ), the seed production and their marketing.

THE AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS LINE

The Agricultural Business Line regroups: the supplying, the production, the collection, the packaging and the marketing of raw materials and agricultural productions. It is structured around two activities: plants and animals

THE POULTRY BUSINESS LINE

Fermiers du Sud-Ouest, first poultry group of the South-West of France is a subsidiary of the Maïsadour group. From the slaughtering to the marketing of its products, it gathers some specialists of the poultry sector from Landes, Périgord and Gers. Three regions known for the quality of their production and their gastronomic tradition.

THE GOURMET BUSINESS LINE

This Business Line develops activities of valorization and agri-food processing (marketing of foie gras, ducks, seafood...).
It gathers strong brands radiating in France and internationally and works with all distribution channels.

An international presence

Maïsadour has 209 sites in the world and most of them are in the South-West of France.

Thanks to our international locations and subsidiaries, we export our know-how and we strengthen the perspectives and markets for our farmers.

More than 100 points of sale are completing our locations in France and internationally.

End of the year celebrations: poularde, a healthy and gourmet product from a virtuous breeding

Turkey, capon, goose, poularde... while the holidays season is coming, French people wonder which festive poultry will stand in the center of the Christmas tables. In the South-West of France, the breeders of the Maïsadour Cooperative are in running order to offer a healthy and gourmet product bred in free-range in the countryside of the Landes: the poulardes.

Haut-Mauco, the 9th of November 2023. For the first time, the Maïsadour Cooperative has gathered all the member-farmers of the various Organization of Producers during a single day, on Wednesday the 8th of November in Tartas during General Assemblies with each of them. An essential time of exchange to present the results of the fiscal year and draw up the future opportunities.

French leguminous plants and cereals, what markets ?

Haut-Mauco, the 20th of November 2023. While the government was introducing late September its ecological planning strategy promoting the rise of leguminous crops and the evolution of our diet, in particular thanks to the cereals, Maïsadour reveals a successful harvest for the end of this year with 510,000 tons of cereals and protein crops, including 490,000 tons of maize harvested.
