A morning dedicated to regenerative agriculture solutions
On March 17, MAS Seeds® hosted farmers and their technical advisors from MAS Seeds, VEGA*Maïsadour, and Agralia at a trial plot in Mimbaste (Landes). In total, more than fifty people attended.
The event showcased MAS Seeds®’ advancements in high-performance solutions tailored to sowing dates and cover crop destruction to preserve soil quality.
The Agricultural Division’s R&I team, meanwhile, explained the agronomic characteristics of the various cover crops, their impacts on soil structure, and presented trial results regarding the adjustment of fertilization through the incorporation of cover crops into crop rotation.
MAS Seeds® has donated €100,000 to farmers as part of its “Regenerative Agriculture Package”
MAS Seeds® has partnered with the Pôle Agricole to launch a “Regenerative Agriculture Bundle” for the 2025–2026 growing season, designed for farmers who have committed to planting the following during the year:
- a main crop (corn, sunflower, soybean, sorghum, or rapeseed) from the MAS Seeds® product line;
- a cover crop or forage mix from the MAS4 range.
To recognize their commitment to regenerative agriculture, MAS Seeds® has donated €100,000 to these farmers to support them in this transition and enhance the sustainability of their operations.
Through this initiative, MAS Seeds® reaffirms its role as a leading innovator in agriculture, capable of supporting all farmers in their transition to agroecology.
Ambition and the Future: MAS Seeds®—the only seed company guiding farmers toward regenerative agriculture
Building on its experience and the success of the “Regenerative Agriculture Bundled Offer,” MAS Seeds will renew the program next year and expand it nationwide.
At the end of the day, MAS Seeds® reaffirmed its ambition to contribute to building a sustainable, high-performing, and resilient agricultural model by fully integrating the principles of regenerative agriculture into the core of its activities serving farmers, offering them sustainable seeds, varieties adapted to climate challenges, cover crops, and forage mixes.
Furthermore, MAS Seeds invests annually in its R&D department dedicated to regenerative agriculture and has trained all of its teams in regenerative agriculture.
“The Maïsadour Group, which has been committed to regenerative agriculture for several years, is dedicating all its efforts to building a resilient and high-performing agricultural future. MAS Seeds and the Cooperative’s Plant Division are both working toward a single goal: supporting farmers in this transition.
Our farmers are willing, but changing practices requires financial support and specific guidance.”
