Led by Daniel Peyraube (President) and Christophe Bonno (CEO), board members and executives engaged in a discussion with those in attendance. The goal was to raise awareness among local elected officials about the Cooperative’s challenges and to move forward together.
A wide range of topics was discussed—including regional economies, regenerative agriculture, the development of the poultry sector, processing times for building permits for new poultry farms, water management, and employment—followed by a question-and-answer session and a time for socializing.
While Maïsadour has embarked on a profound transformation with its AMBiTiON 2030 strategy, one thing is clear: it is only through dialogue with all stakeholders that we will build a sustainable future.
In this context, local elected officials play a strategic role in defending our rural way of life and accelerating the development of concrete solutions for the future of farms. This is a positive step not only for our agriculture but also for the regions where Maïsadour is a major economic player.
This initial initiative was well received by elected officials. It will be continued in the future to foster ever-closer ties with stakeholders in our regions.

At Maïsadour, more than 50 employees serve as elected officials (mayors, deputy mayors, council members) in their communities.
The vast majority are in southwestern France, but not exclusively—some, for example, hold office in Seine-Maritime, in the Nord department, and even in Morocco!
